CORRECTION: 8 Bit Peoples

Sorry. We were really lazy with the last update. We'll talk about this a bit more later. But we thought we should fix this up based on the mail Nullsleep sent us. This was it.

Thanks a lot for posting up the info on the tour!

I can't believe you just splayed out the email like that though ... I thought it was a private moment for us and us alone to share ...

Seriously though, if you wouldn't mind linking the URLs in the post to their respective destinations that would be fantastic. You know how lazy people are on the internets.

Thanks again!

Again, sorry about that Jeremiah. We've been horribly depressed lately and can barely get ourselves off the couch anymore. But, you're right. We should've put more effort into it the first time. Again. Sorry. :( You can still sleep on our floor if you need a place to stay. Here's the right version of the update.

Hey there you miserable bastard (I say this to indicate some level of playful comradery that we obviously do not yet share, but I hope will help my cause anyway)! I wanted to let the GeekOnStun crowd know about some really big news from the illustrious (lol) chipmusic and computer-art collective, 8bitpeoples (www.8bitpeoples.com). We are announcing a follow-up to last year's Data Destruction Tour (http://destroy.8bitpeoples.com) -- our first ever WORLD TOUR.

THE INTERNATIONAL CHIPTUNE RESISTANCE WORLD TOUR 2006
feat. BIT SHIFTER + NULLSLEEP | May 6 - June 9

The Chiptune Rebellion banner will be hoisted high as we embark on an unprecedented mission to UNITE THE WORLD with the universal language of square-waves and noise channels. Armed only with Game Boys and NES consoles, this two-man cell heads out on a five-week mission around the world, with more than 20 strike points designated throughout Europe, Asia, and North America.

But we could use the help from all of the independent music enthusiasts out there.

This around-the-world endeavor is entirely self-financed, and at the same time, among the most expensive undertakings we have attempted. For anyone in a position to help the cause, we are gratefully accepting donations. We have set our final goal at $3000. By donating, you will be helping us strike a victory not only for 8-bit music, but for independent music in general.

Full tour details and city list available here: http://resist.8bitpeoples.com

Keep on stunning geeks, and thanks a lot for any help you can offer in getting the word about this tour out there.

We're going to do some drugs now.
